The DUO provides a living ecosystem inside a nano aquarium and allows the user to grow their own organic produce all year round. The tank itself holds 20 litres of water and may be stocked as a small tropical tank or split with the divider, creating a duo betta fish home.
The water from the fish tank floods the growbed above the tank on an hourly cycle. The plants absorb the rich nutrients from the water and work together with the growbed to oxygenate and filter the water before returning it. This symbiotic relationship between fish, plants and bacteria is called Aquaponics and drives your DUO sytstem.
