NT Industrial Design Studio was was invited by CarbonWorks, Inc. to design their first superphone the CARBON SuperPhone.
Carbon is the first smartphone ever made of carbon-fibre and other high-tech material composites. That makes it unbelievably thin, feather light and mighty strong. Like a superphone. In your hands. Carbon comes with unimaginable dimensions. To create it, we reinvented how a smartphone is designed and manufactured.
Carbon composite fabrics are crafted by hand, then shaped with high pressure steel molds of more than 25 pieces which are locked and baked with microscopic precision. An incredible way of making a smartphone which, in your hands, becomes magical.
